Legal Counsel for Nonprofits
Extensive Experience
Founding attorney John Montague has extensive experience representing nonprofit organizations and also offers clients valuable insights gained from working inside the IRS.
John spent eight years in private practice at a large law firm, where he focused his practice on representing nonprofits.
He also spent nearly five years at the IRS, where he was senior counsel in the Exempt Organizations practice group of the Office of Chief Counsel and served as Acting Senior Technical Advisor to the Director of Exempt Organizations and Government Entities.
He began his legal career clerking for a judge on the U.S. Tax Court. You can read more about John’s experience by clicking the button below.

Affordability
We offer nonprofits outstanding legal services at affordable rates. We achieve this by leveraging extensive legal experience and knowledge with minimal overhead costs.
And unlike some other law firms, we focus exclusively on representing and supporting nonprofits – because we believe in the work that nonprofits do.
